Position Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment

The role involves working in a construction setting, which may include:

  • Noisy conditions
  • Dusty environments
  • Various locations, including residential and renovation projects
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on-site
  • Instruct and mentor apprentices
  • Supervise other construction workers
Physical Requirements

Candidates should be prepared for physical tasks, including:

  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
