Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales and Catering Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International. As a Sales and Catering Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing group events, including meetings, conferences, and social events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with group coordinators and hosts to discuss event details and ensure all arrangements are agreeable.
  • Analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine proper setup, timeline, and special needs.
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements, and follow up to ensure compliance.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, and report accidents and injuries to management.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, and anticipate and address their service needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support the team to reach common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, and visually verify information in a variety of formats.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
