Job Title: Ethnic Food Cook

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Audielicious Restaurant, Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes for our customers.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with experience in preparing and cooking ethnic dishes. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week. The work environment is urban and the work setting is a restaurant.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
