Position Summary
The Supply Chain Architect is tasked with the critical role of developing and executing innovative, scalable, and effective supply chain frameworks and systems. This position requires a thorough evaluation of existing supply chain configurations, pinpointing opportunities for enhancement, and crafting solutions that elevate the overall supply chain efficacy. The Supply Chain Architect will collaborate extensively with various departments to ensure that the supply chain framework is in harmony with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Design and Enhancement:
    Examine current supply chain operations and systems to uncover inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. Design and deploy supply chain strategies that boost efficiency, scalability, and resilience. Formulate plans for optimizing supply chain functions, encompassing procurement, production, and logistics.
  • Technology Integration:
    Identify and incorporate cutting-edge technologies (such as ERP systems, supply chain management software, IoT, and AI) to bolster supply chain capabilities. Partner with IT and other divisions to ensure the smooth integration of new technologies into existing frameworks.
  • Process Optimization:
    Lead efforts to streamline and standardize supply chain processes while eliminating bottlenecks. Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Risk Management:
    Formulate and execute risk management strategies to alleviate potential supply chain disruptions. Conduct regular risk evaluations and devise contingency plans for vital supply chain elements.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    Utilize advanced analytical tools to collect and scrutinize supply chain data. Generate detailed reports and dashboards to deliver insights into supply chain performance and identify emerging trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Engage closely with demand planning, supply chain planning, procurement, production, logistics, finance, commodity management, and other departments to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with overarching business objectives. Facilitate effective communication and teamwork across functions.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience:
    7-10 years of experience in supply chain management, particularly in supply chain architecture or design. A proven history of designing and implementing successful supply chain solutions in a complex, global environment.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Familiarity with the telecom and hyperscaler sectors.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong understanding of advanced technologies such as IoT, AI, and data analytics tools.
  • Analytical Skills:
    Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to conduct complex data analysis and make informed, data-driven decisions. Experience in statistics is essential.
  • Communication Skills:
    Strong verbal and written communication capabilities. Ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Project Management:
    Robust project management skills, with the capability to lead and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications:
    APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), SCOR-P (Supply Chain Operations Reference Professional), or similar certification is highly desirable.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Extensive experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Global Supply Chain Experience:
    Experience in managing global supply chains.
