Culinary Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Marbleslab Creamery. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Menu Planning and Inventory Management
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
- Quality Control and Customer Service
- Ensure that food and service meet our high standards of quality control, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales data and customer feedback.
- Human Resources and Administration
- Hire and train food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in place to deliver our high standards of service.
- Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
- Fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership and guidance to staff.
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- 35 hours per week.
- Permanent position.
- Work language: English.
