About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Visual Effects Artist to join our team at Behaviour Interactive. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating stunning visual effects for our games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Profile and optimize particle and shader systems for maximum performance across various platforms.
  • Create and manage post-process materials to enhance the gameplay experience.
  • Bring design and artistic visions to life, collaborating with the art and tech teams to find innovative solutions.
  • Assist and collaborate with various departments to create and implement effects.
  • Act as a bridge between design, art, and tech to add visual enhancements to gameplay mechanics.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a VFX artist in the video game industry.
  • 5 years of experience with Unreal Engine and related 3D software.
  • In-depth knowledge of particle systems.
  • Strong understanding and use of shaders.
  • Solid foundation in modeling, texturing, UV mapping, and lighting.
  • Passion for VFX and animation in the video game field.
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to work within a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of various game engines is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Houdini is a plus.
