Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Visual Effects Artist to join our talented team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in the success of Dead by Daylight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize particle and shader systems to maximize performance across different platforms.
  • Create and manage post-process materials.
  • Bring design and artistic visions to life to enhance gameplay experience.
  • Collaborate with various departments to create and implement effects.
  • Act as a bridge between design, art, and tech to find the best ways to add visual enhancements to gameplay mechanics.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a VFX artist in the video game industry.
  • 5 years of experience with Unreal Engine and related 3D software.
  • In-depth knowledge of particle systems.
  • Strong understanding and use of shaders.
  • Solid foundation in modeling, texturing, UV mapping, and lighting.
  • Passion for VFX and animation in the video game field.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of various game engines is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Houdini is a plus.
