Job Title: Visual Effects Artist

Job Summary:

Sony Pictures Imageworks is seeking a skilled Visual Effects Artist to join our team. As a Visual Effects Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual effects for our films and television shows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create visual effects, such as 3D models, textures, and lighting, to enhance the visual appeal of our productions.
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and other artists to ensure that visual effects meet the creative vision of the project.
  • Develop and implement visual effects techniques to achieve the desired look and feel of the production.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure that visual effects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest visual effects software and technologies to ensure that our productions are of the highest quality.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in visual effects or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of visual effects principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in visual effects software, such as Maya or Nuke.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on feature films or television shows.
  • Knowledge of animation principles and techniques.
  • Experience with motion capture or other advanced visual effects techniques.
