About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support daily operations by providing leadership and guidance to ensure shop operations run efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist in managing shop operations in alignment with our company's values and standards.
  • Provide vacation coverage as required, under the direction of the regional operations manager.
  • Utilize our company dashboard to accurately identify and prioritize tasks.
  • Participate in daily production meetings to drive results and improve processes.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Write estimates and schedules repairs as required, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Enter parts and sublet invoices into our management system, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Apply expert knowledge of insurance and fleet-specific policies and procedures to drive results.
  • Support daily production, workflow, and quality control of the shop, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Walk with purpose, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team and shop manager to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce effort, increasing touch time and reducing vehicle days in shop.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and guidelines, promoting consistent application within the company.
  • Bring forward suggestions for training needs based on observations and experiences.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support company standards in SPARKLE, safety, and security, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Represent and promote the Craftsman Collision brand in a positive manner, aligned with our stated values in all dealings.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Working towards I-CAR Platinum certification is an asset.
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills, with the ability to interact and gain support from senior leadership and other decision-makers.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound judgment skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient in Outlook and video conferencing platforms, with the ability and willingness to learn new applications.
  • Demonstrated desire and aptitude for learning and development.
  • Interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in ADAS systems, vehicle calibrations, and emerging vehicle technologies is an asset.
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
