Job Summary

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning resident suites and common areas to create a safe, tidy, and pleasant environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and sanitizing suites, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and common areas according to a pre-set schedule.
  • Performing laundry services for residents as needed.
  • Identifying, reporting, and logging potential maintenance issues to management.
  • Maintaining the housekeeping room, equipment, and carts in safe and sanitary condition.
  • Replenishing housekeeping carts and managing cleaning chemicals safely.

Requirements

  • You have at least two years of similar experience in the hospitality or senior-living industry.
  • You have completed Grade 10 high school education or equivalent, along with the WHMIS program, and you are able to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
  • You pride yourself on excellent attention to detail and work to the highest cleaning standards.
  • You're able to self-direct and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • You understand and respect the needs of seniors, their families, and other professional services engaged with our residents.
