Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Roofer to join our team at Skyluxe Roofing and Sheet Metal. As a Metal Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining metal roofs on various buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair: Install new metal roofs, repair or replace existing ones, and ensure a watertight seal.
  • Roofing Systems: Install and repair various roofing systems, including single-ply, metal, and asphalt shingle roofs.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Supervision: Supervise and instruct apprentices in the installation and repair of metal roofs.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, lift heavy loads, and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in the field.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift over 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and gloves.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and outdoors environments.
  • Work Setting: Work at various locations, including construction sites and buildings.
