Job Title: Sheet Metal Roofer

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Roofer to join our team at Atlas-Apex Roofing Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing sheet metal roofing systems, ensuring a watertight seal and a long-lasting finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Select and operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to template, ensuring accurate cuts and fits
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification
  • Operate plasma cutters and power tools to cut materials
  • Fabricate and install sheet metal products, including roofing, decking, and cladding
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and safe work practices
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in sheet metal technology or equivalent
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination
