About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at CHAHAL HAIR SALON INC. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain a Clean Environment: Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and organized, and the counter area is clean and tidy.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process Returns and Exchanges: Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with our store's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a High Level of Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on our products and services, and be able to answer customer questions and make recommendations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Attention to Detail: You must be able to accurately process transactions and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Availability: You must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous retail experience is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
