About the Role

Innivec is seeking a highly skilled and experienced People and Culture Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture and ensuring that our teams are engaged, diverse, and aligned with our core values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead the recruitment and hiring process to attract top talent in alignment with our company's needs and diversity goals.
  2. Employee Engagement and Development: Develop and implement organizational strategies that enhance employee engagement and align with our vision and values.
  3. People and Culture Processes: Create, review, and standardize People and Culture processes to ensure smooth employee operations and relations.
  4. Project Management: Spearhead People and Culture projects, including the revision of compensation plans.
  5. Research and Analysis: Conduct research and provide recommendations for the implementation of functional HRMS and databases.
  6. Talent Management: Utilize expertise in talent management and acquisition to strengthen our team.
  7. Organizational Development: Lead organizational development and performance management, collaborating with managers to enhance team effectiveness.
  8. Performance Evaluation: Manage the performance evaluation process, ensuring it is efficient and meaningful.
  9. Policy and Procedure Implementation: Implement and coordinate new policies and procedures to improve organizational efficiency.
  10. Internal Communication: Oversee internal communication projects, including employee satisfaction surveys.
  11. Employee Benefits and Payroll: Manage employee benefits and payroll operations, specifically using Ceridian Power pay.
  12. Benefits Program Evaluation: Evaluate and refine the company's benefits program to ensure competitiveness and effectiveness.
  13. Training and Development: Coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growth and skill enhancement.
  14. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with GDPR, privacy, and data security laws and requirements in our recordkeeping and data processing procedures.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management, Organizational Communication, or a related field.
  2. Designations: CPHR or other relevant HR and payroll designations are strongly preferred.
  3. Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in People and Culture operations or a similar role.
  4. HRIS and Payroll Tools: Experience with HRIS and payroll tools; Ceridian Power pay experience is a plus.
  5. Extended Health Benefits: Knowledge of extended health benefits programs and Canadian employment legislation.
  6. Data Management: Strong skills in data management and analysis.
  7. Communication: Excellent presentation, persuasion, and communication skills.
  8. International Experience: Preference for candidates with international experience and multilingual abilities.
