POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Workforce Optimization Analyst is responsible for collecting essential business inputs to facilitate informed decisions regarding workforce management and the development of forecasting models. This role involves analyzing, processing, and refining all data inputs to ensure precise staffing needs are met throughout the organization. The Analyst will design, update, and sustain staffing models applicable to all branches within the organization. Furthermore, the Workforce Optimization Analyst will create efficient workforce schedules that align with business objectives while reducing unnecessary staffing levels. This position also entails developing and maintaining reports on budgeted Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) across the organization to comply with operational and governmental funding requirements. Regular reporting to executives and business leaders will be provided to aid in strategic decision-making, enhance operational efficiencies, and adhere to workforce management principles.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field. Significant experience in capacity planning and developing forecasting models for staffing and budget management. Strong familiarity with workforce management software solutions. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience deemed acceptable by the Employer.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Comprehensive understanding of workforce planning philosophies and practices. Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and communication abilities. Proficient research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities. Ability to comprehend and engage with the Commission's operations and activities. Competence in conducting needs assessments, identifying gaps, and formulating programs and processes to enhance workforce planning initiatives. Capacity to present innovative ideas for the design and execution of workforce planning initiatives and oversee program implementation. Proficiency in generating workforce planning reports, forecasts, trends, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner. Ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff across the organization. Capability to exercise discretion, tact, diplomacy, and sound judgment. Ability to influence and drive results effectively. Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Tools (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
