Flexographic Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our team at Rayacom Print and Packaging BC Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our flexographic presses to produce high-quality packaging materials.
Key Responsibilities- Press Operation: Safely operate and maintain our flexographic presses to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
- Plate Mounting and Adjustments: Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper press operation.
- Ink Management: Fill ink fountains and control color and viscosity to achieve optimal print quality.
- Quality Control: Monitor regular press runs for quality using computer control consoles and make adjustments as needed.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Remove and clean plates and cylinders at the end of each press run to maintain press efficiency and quality.
- Work Site Environment: Our production facility is a fast-paced environment with a moderate to high noise level.
- Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
- Work Conditions: You will work under pressure to meet production deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
- Reliability: You must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to Detail: You must have excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality production and maintain press efficiency.
- Communication Skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with the production team and management to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Term: This is a permanent full-time position.
