We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at O&B Blue Mountain. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading by example and inspiring our team with your passion for food and cooking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing kitchen team, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement menu concepts, recipes, and cooking techniques to drive culinary innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with our culinary leadership team to drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and receiving procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our front-of-house team, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Conduct recruitment, training, and development initiatives to drive team performance and growth.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and safety.
- Other duties as assigned by our culinary leadership team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a similar environment.
- Proven track record of driving culinary excellence and innovation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our front-of-house team.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and vision, with a passion for food and culinary excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
