Gas Station Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. in a permanent position.
Job Summary:The Gas Station Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas station, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing sales workers, hiring and training staff, authorizing payments, ordering merchandise, and resolving customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are working efficiently
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet the needs of the gas station
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure accurate financial records
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform management decisions
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that all products are available to customers
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently
The Gas Station Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of 3-4 people. The role requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
- Client focus, reliability, and team player skills
