Position Overview:

As a Senior Systems Software Developer specializing in BlackBerry QNX within the Advanced Technology Development sector, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of foundational software for the automotive industry and other critical application domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement development strategies aligned with emerging technology trends.
  • Engage in architectural discussions and strategic planning with technology partners.
  • Contribute design insights for innovative products and solutions.
  • Create comprehensive design documentation and related artifacts throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Enhance the BlackBerry QNX software portfolio with significant advancements.
  • Devise and execute integration strategies for both internal and external systems.
  • Establish and apply automation strategies across the software lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and updates.
  • Develop and enforce robust security models and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Experience with multiple operating system architectures, with a preference for Linux and QNX.
  • Ability to work with various hardware configurations and setups.
  • Experience in embedded development or cross-platform development.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in software debugging.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset and openness to new ideas.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
