Operations Control Officer

The Operations Control Officer is accountable to the Manager of the System Operations Control Centre.
This role entails supervising all flight and ground activities while taking into account various elements that influence aircraft operations, including weather conditions, maintenance schedules, load distribution, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee personnel within the System Operations Control Centre during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate with governmental and airport entities regarding operational issues arising during duty hours.
- Ensure timely communication of critical information to all relevant departments affected by aircraft changes, delays, cancellations, and other operational factors.
- Manage aircraft assignments in accordance with Maintenance Engineering Limitations (MEL), corporate policies, and maintenance protocols.
- Initiate and coordinate emergency response procedures when necessary.
- Understand, adhere to, and advocate for the Company's Safety Policy.
Focus on Results:
- Strive for high-quality outcomes that align with the organization's standards.
- Engage in open, honest, and respectful communication with diverse audiences, fostering dialogue and consensus.
- Possess a working knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) 705.
- Hold a Restricted Radio Telephone Operators Certificate.
