As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods, managing inventory levels, and supervising a team of warehouse staff.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Planning: Develop and implement effective operational plans to prioritize tasks, manage inventory, and optimize warehouse space.
- Team Management: Supervise and train a team of 5-10 warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are optimized and that inventory is properly stored and secured.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure seamless logistics operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and team performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all warehouse equipment and machinery are properly maintained and serviced, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient operations.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all goods are properly stored, handled, and shipped.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
- Language: English (fluency required).
