We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Mississauga, ON. This role requires an engineer with experience in lean management, quality management, metallurgy, or CNC programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations or tests of a routine degree of complexity pertaining to the development of new designs, methods, materials, or processes.
  • Obtain, correlate, and analyze technical information needed to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Prepare reports, charts, graphs, and other documents and make recommendations to senior staff.
  • Originate and develop the design of a variety of products, processes, components, or equipment requiring analyses of a moderately complex level.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of directly related experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 Quality System and ISO-14000 Environmental System.
  • Must have permanent work authorization for Canada.
  • Valid Canadian Driver's License.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), AutoCAD, Oracle, and Manufacturing Systems.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working on lean tools (5S, time study, standard work, SMED, value stream mapping, problem-solving tools, TPM – Autonomous Maintenance, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols and regulations.
