Job Overview:

This role involves working alongside operations and EHS to continuously improve manufacturing operations and drive a sustainable safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with operations and EHS to develop and implement safety initiatives;
  • Work with cross-functional teams on product development initiatives from design to production;
  • Design, develop, and implement new production lines and processes;
  • Verify tool and assembly construction with suppliers;
  • Assist with capital and tooling analysis, strategies, and acquisitions;
  • Interface with peers, suppliers, and industry organizations to research and develop new process designs and technology concepts;
  • Support teams with quotes and assistance to manufacturing, quality, engineering development, and planning staff;
  • Mentor and train Manufacturing EITs as they progress in their careers.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent;
  • 5 or more years of manufacturing engineering experience;
  • Understanding of 3D CAD design, preferably experience with Solidworks and AutoCAD;
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and experience documenting assembly process sheets, work instructions, and operating procedures;
  • Understanding of Bill of Materials and MRP systems/ECN/NCR;
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office software and ERP systems;
  • Experienced with project management methodologies and software, demonstrating leadership, teamwork, collaboration, creativity, and innovation.
