Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to high needs students in all areas of exceptionality
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, central behavioural support team, and respective therapists
  • Implement programming in consultation with classroom teacher and central behavioural support team
  • Support students in transition and/or implement programming
Requirements:
  • Two-year post-secondary certificate or diploma in the social services field
  • Experience working with a variety of student exceptionalities
  • Broad knowledge of support strategies, including ABA, Behaviour Management Systems, and Augmentative Communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a school-based team
