Job Title: Material Control Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Control Coordinator to join our team at The Daniels Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The Material Control Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile orders and instructions received from customers and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion.
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics, including inventory management and supply chain coordination.
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepare and maintain progress and other reports as required.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
