Before and After School Program Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee our Before and After School program at Prospect Road Elementary. This role is essential in creating a safe and engaging environment for children during their out-of-school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children in recreational activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding program activities.
- Implement recreational programming that promotes physical and social development.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience in child care or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of recreational programming and child development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- High School Completion Certificate or equivalent is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification is a valuable asset.
- Compensation is set at $18.28 per hour, plus vacation pay.
- Work hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, with morning and afternoon shifts.
Additional Benefits:
Children of employees can participate in the program at no cost. There are also various paid training opportunities available, including certifications in High Five, First Aid/CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and Fundamental Movement Skills.
