Job Description

Converge Technology Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to join our team as a Senior Network & Security Engineer. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires a strong background in network and security engineering, with a focus on designing, implementing, and supporting complex network and security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and assess network and security solutions for our clients, including LAN switching, WAN routing, security infrastructure, and network load balancing.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain advanced level certifications, knowledge, and capabilities in the latest network and security technologies and trends.
  • Consultative Advice: Assist the sales team in providing consultative advice to clients for solutions and recommendations.
  • Communication and Documentation: Provide excellent communication and documentation skills, delivering design, planning, recommendations, and as-built documentation/drawings.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of network and security experience, with a strong background in implementing, designing, migrating, analyzing/assessing, troubleshooting, and overall support.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with prominent tools from vendors like Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and/or Juniper, as well as HPE Aruba NAC and/or Clearpass.
  • Certifications: Network product certifications are preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Passion for learning and cross-training in new security technologies, ability to produce client presentations on technology solutions, and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and work well with teams.
