About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at Samuel, Son & Co. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test mechanical and electrical components with precision and attention to detail.
- Setup and repair of printing systems and print heads, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct intermediate testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Repair and maintain systems, utilizing basic hand and power tools, as well as intermediate level electrical testing equipment.
- Evaluate and develop new technologies in collaboration with the Product Manager.
Requirements:
- Relative post-secondary diploma or related training in electrical and mechanical competency.
- Strong attention to detail and procedures, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to train lower-level technicians and assist the management team with R&D related work.
- Good manual dexterity needed to assemble and work with small parts.
Work Environment:
Our clean and organized shop environment ensures a safe and efficient workspace. Overtime hours may be required when needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000, with base pay determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including paid vacation, medical plan options, and a defined contribution pension plan with company match.
