About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at Samuel, Son & Co. As an Electromechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical and electrical components, setting up and repairing printing systems and print heads, and performing intermediate testing and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test mechanical and electrical components
- Setup and repair of printing systems and print heads
- Intermediate testing and troubleshooting
- Ability to repair and maintain systems
- Ability to setup and test systems
- Evaluate and develop new technologies with the Product Manager
Equipment Knowledge:
You will have basic hand and power tools, intermediate level electrical testing equipment, and small jib crane operation skills. You will also have the ability to work with small parts and have good manual dexterity.
Role Requirements:
- Train lower-level technicians for advancement to higher levels
- Assist the management team and other technicians with a starting level emphasis on R&D related work
- Strong attention to detail and procedures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Work Environment:
You will work in a clean and organized shop environment with occasional overtime hours. You will also be required to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, sit, kneel, and crouch during job performance.
Leadership Competencies:
You will have self-management, resilience, talent development and coaching, and teamwork and collaboration skills.
Technical Competencies:
You will have a relative post-secondary diploma or related training, electrical and mechanical competency, and the ability to work with small parts.
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. Your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
