Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and passionate Ethnic Food Cook to join our kitchen team. As an Ethnic Food Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of international dishes, from traditional South Indian cuisine to modern fusion flavors.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine food portion sizes and costs
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
- Train staff in food preparation and handling
- Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and physical stamina
- Permanent employment
- 30-40 hours of work per week
- English language support
- A welcoming work environment
