Job Title: Gas Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team at AG MECHANICAL LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing gas heating units and their components, as well as advising clients on standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install gas heating units and their components
  • Measure and mark reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment
  • Service gas heating units and their components
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment
  • Advise clients on standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
  • Install and service propane and natural gas filling stations
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
