Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team at AG MECHANICAL LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing gas heating units and their components, as well as advising clients on standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install gas heating units and their components, ensuring proper measurement and marking of reference points for gas lines and equipment.
  • Service gas heating units and their components, including repair and maintenance of gas appliances and related equipment.
  • Advise clients on standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems, using gas detecting devices to test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks.
  • Install and service propane and natural gas filling stations, working in various locations, including commercial and residential settings.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.

  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
