About the Role:
This is an entry-level position that requires a motivated and team-oriented individual to join our sawmill manufacturing facility. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for contributing to the overall cleanliness of the site, rotating through various job responsibilities, and adhering to schedules to maintain production timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shoveling, lifting, and carrying boards and debris while working in a safe and efficient manner.
- Rotating through various job responsibilities and tasks within your assigned area, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Contributing to a safe work environment for coworkers, customers, and site visitors.
- Driving the chip truck for holiday and relief coverage, requiring a valid Class 1 driver's license.
Requirements:
- A safety-driven mindset and ability to perform repetitive, manual tasks for extended periods.
- Experience with and/or around machinery and equipment is an asset.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
- A high degree of urgency and attention to detail.
- A valid Class 1 Driver's License with B-Train experience.
