About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at RVC Forming. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Construction
    • Develop and implement construction plans and layouts in accordance with building codes and regulations.
    • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Construction
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
    • Build and install foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems.
    • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties.
    • Renovate and restore wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
  • Leadership and Training
    • Supervise and train apprentices and other workers to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
