NAIT is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual for the role of Temporary Instructor in Communications within the JR Shaw School of Business. This position emphasizes a commitment to educational excellence and the success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver courses utilizing various instructional methodologies, including case-based and problem-based learning.
- Provide constructive feedback to students through diverse assessment methods.
- Encourage students to develop into future leaders in business and community.
- Utilize industry knowledge to create and implement curriculum collaboratively.
- Adhere to NAIT's policies and academic standards.
- Engage in non-teaching administrative responsibilities, including course coordination and student communication.
- Participate in program development activities, including curriculum reviews and team meetings.
- Contribute to professional practice communities through research and collaboration.
- Engage in scholarly activities that promote knowledge sharing and peer review.
- Foster relationships with industry and community partners.
- Promote the program to potential students and stakeholders.
- Participate in institutional service as needed.
