About the Role

NAIT is seeking a dedicated and passionate Instructional Assistant to join our dynamic team at the JR Shaw School of Business. This is an academic position reporting to the Program Chair, responsible for contributing to instructional excellence, student success, and the advancement of our programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct assigned courses using various instructional strategies, including case-based learning and technology-supported learning.
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to students on authentic assessments.
  • Leverage industry expertise to develop and deliver curriculum as part of a subject area team.
  • Contribute to program and school efforts, including curriculum review and renewal, and participation at meetings or town halls.
  • Engage in scholarly activity, research, and community building.
  • Liaise with business and community stakeholders, promoting the program to prospective students and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Related certificate, diploma, or degree.
  • Previous instruction and/or curriculum development experience may be an asset.
  • Expert knowledge in a particular field and currency of practice in a related field is preferred.
