Position Summary:
- Acts as a vital member of the inter-professional team.
- Possesses substantial expertise in psychological evaluation, testing, and treatment within an outpatient environment for children, adolescents, and their families.
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered Psychologist, certified by the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- Experience in addressing the needs of children and adolescents facing psychiatric challenges, along with their families.
- Proficient in conducting psychological assessments for youth with psychiatric issues and delivering feedback to their families.
- Skilled in offering various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, to youth and their families dealing with psychiatric disorders.
- Experienced in providing consultation and supervision in cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic methods to colleagues within the inter-professional team.
- Comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent development, family dynamics, and systemic interactions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within an inter-professional team.
