Qualifications: Completion of secondary education is required.

Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset.

Work Environment

Provide care within the client's residence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver bedside and personal assistance to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as directed.
  • Support clients with their personal hygiene needs.
  • Encourage and assist clients in maintaining regular physical activity.
  • Handle laundry and manage clothing and linens.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients.
Client Demographics

Focus on supporting adults, particularly males, as well as individuals with intellectual and mental health challenges.

Relevant Experience

Familiarity with behavior disorders is beneficial.

Transportation Requirements

Possession of a valid driver's license and personal transportation is necessary.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands

Role involves a mix of sitting, standing, and walking. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with potential for overtime. Tasks may be repetitive and require working under pressure.
