About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Delivery Consultant to join our team at IBM Computing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering world-class services to our clients, leveraging your expertise in IBM products to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Challenge Identification

Work closely with clients to understand their main challenges and develop innovative solutions that help them transform mission-critical IBM Z applications for hybrid cloud environments.

IBM Z DevOps Solutions

Lead the implementation of IBM Z DevOps solutions that utilize robust toolsets to develop and maintain z/OS applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Collaboration and Support

Collaborate with the IBM Z Ecosystem to provide support and guidance to clients during their transformation initiatives, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.

Service Offering Development

Contribute to the development of service offerings that make migration services scalable and repeatable, driving business growth and efficiency.

Problem-Solving and Communication

Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to identify and resolve complex issues.

Requirements

  1. Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in deploying and optimizing software solutions for IBM Z, LinuxONE, and associated operating systems.

Technical Expertise

Deep expertise in deploying and optimizing software solutions for IBM Z, LinuxONE, and associated operating systems, with a strong understanding of hybrid cloud environments and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with experience in advisory roles or leadership for DevOps transformation projects, and experience with flexible infrastructure implementation for cloud-native app development.
