Job Summary

As a Senior Delivery Consultant at IBM Computing, you will be responsible for delivering world-class services for our clients. You will bring together all the necessary technology and services to help customers solve their most challenging problems.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver IBM GDPS solution design, architecture, and implementation
  • Configure and customize GDPS functional capabilities
  • Design and customize NetView automation, REXX, and JCL to support IBM GDPS environment
  • Assist with customer IBM GDPS deployment testing
  • Provide technical guidance and skills transfer to customer personnel for IBM GDPS related topics
  • Produce planning and implementation reports and documentation
  • Installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of IBM Z operating system, subsystem, and related Z software
  • Other technical tasks as necessary to accomplish successful customer outcomes


Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience working with z/OS High Availability technology and capabilities including Parallel Sysplex
  • Copy Services technology including Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, and z/OS Global Mirror
  • Successfully delivering IBM Z projects and/or architecting and planning infrastructures for customer's data centers
  • 3+ years' experience in Customer or executive facing communications, requirements analysis, documentation, and report presentations
  • Networking skills especially TCP/IP knowledge
  • Tivoli System Automation and/or NetView
  • Ability to lead customer technical workshops up to 20+ people
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge or experience with GDPS, PPRC, and DR solution design and procedures
  • Practical SMP/E knowledge
  • Assembler, JCL, REXX, and CLIST knowledge
  • Basic RACF knowledge


Location Statement

Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship. If you are a Foreign National from any of the following US sanctioned countries (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions of Ukraine) on a work permit, you are not eligible for employment in this position.
