We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Graduated from an approved program of Nursing Education
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
- Current adult CPR and Newborn Resuscitation Certification
- 1+ year of experience in a neonatal intensive care unit caring for Level III tertiary care patients in the last two years
