Canadian Blood Services is seeking a skilled Plasma Nurse to join our dynamic Plasma Operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct registration and confidential screening to determine donor eligibility and provide a positive donor experience.
- Provide coaching and consultation to donor centre staff, acting as team lead for collection events as needed.
- Assist in the collection of plasma, which saves lives daily, in a diverse team environment.
- Set up booths, tables, and equipment for mobile events within our communities.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program and current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the province.
- 2 years of experience working as a nurse, with certification in First Aid and CPR, is considered an asset.
- Previous experience as a preceptor or with coaching others is an asset.
- Technical skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook, and the ability to learn new systems and programs.
- Payment in lieu of vacation, holidays, and benefits.

The ability to lift weight up to 10 kg (22 lbs.) is required.
