Canadian Blood Services is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist (Plasma Associate) to join our dynamic Collections Operations Ont team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the collection of plasma in a safe and efficient manner, enabling the production of life-saving products.
Key Responsibilities- Perform venipuncture according to established standards, ensuring the safety and comfort of donors.
- Utilize excellent customer service skills to promote a positive experience for donors throughout the collection process.
- Apply knowledge and experience in phlebotomy to ensure the accurate and efficient collection of plasma.
- Contribute to the framework of continuous improvement and implementation of best practice standards with the team.
- Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution, preferably in science/health-related fields of study.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience working with the public, particularly in a high customer-focused environment.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and programs.
- Knowledge of and experience working with current Good Manufacturing Practices.
