Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Specialist to join our team at Ainsworth Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and conducting training programs for our Field Service Management system (FSM) and other associated software and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development: Design and create comprehensive training programs for FSM software, including training videos, in-person/virtual/self-training content, and training and support documentation.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions to Field Technicians, back-office staff, and less frequently, to customers. Session size varies from 1-on-1 training sessions to large group sessions of up to 30 participants.
  • Post-Training Support: Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Training Material Management: Manage and maintain the training material repository, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Training Infrastructure Evaluation: Evaluate our existing training infrastructure, including tools and software, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Software Development Support: Assist during the software development phase, reviewing design specifications and testing software as required.
  • Feedback Collection and Documentation: Collect and document feedback from users, feeding this information back to the development team to inform future improvements.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by Management, up to 10% of which may require travel within North America.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or university degree in Professional Training, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years or more of training experience in PC and mobile applications, with a strong background in developing and scripting work in Articulate Storyline 360.
  • Skills: Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer Literacy: Solid skills in Microsoft Office tools, with experience in multimedia training platforms and methods, blended learning programs, and Field Service Management systems (FSM) or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Language: English-French bilingualism is an asset.
