Training and Development Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Canam Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to recruit and retain top talent, as well as providing training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Talent Management
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and develop solutions
- Training and Development
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Develop and implement training materials, including e-learning modules and instructor-led training
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training content and materials
- Employee Engagement and Support
- Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement employee recognition and reward programs
- Administrative and Reporting
- Manage HR-related administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting
- Develop and maintain HR-related policies and procedures
- Provide data and insights to support business decisions
- Education and Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human resources, training and development, or a related field
- Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- Skills and Abilities
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights to support business decisions
- Proficiency in HR-related software and systems
- Language Skills
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in French (written and verbal) an asset
