Job Description

Become an integral part of a dynamic fashion organization where you will cultivate an engaging atmosphere for customers in your store, inspiring them to express their individual style. Mentor and guide the store team to deliver an exceptional and motivating shopping experience that aligns with H&M's core values and brand ethos. Propel in-store sales and ensure our visual identity is consistently represented, making H&M the premier destination for fashion. Consistently meet customer and team expectations by adhering to H&M's established guidelines and protocols.

Fashion Expertise

- Remain informed about current fashion trends and styling techniques to effectively anticipate customer preferences.

- Share insights and inspire the store team regarding seasonal trends.

Customer Service Excellence

- Provide outstanding customer service that meets H&M's standards and surpasses customer expectations.

- Assist the store in enhancing customer service quality.

Visual Presentation Management

- Uphold H&M's visual identity by adhering to the Commercial Handbook, ensuring proper display of garments on mannequins in both windows and the store, and confirming that clothing presentation aligns with the brand's identity.

- Create a cohesive narrative that connects window displays and zone-A, offering easy-to-wear buying suggestions.

- Optimize garment presentation for maximum commercial impact and ensure daily garment care in collaboration with the store team.

- Direct customers to various store concepts using store maps, visual presentation materials, and signage.

- Implement and execute all commercial campaigns and operations on scheduled dates in accordance with H&M's guidelines.

Sales Performance

- Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and boost sales.

- Monitor and take necessary actions to meet sales objectives.

Commercial Strategy

- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and execute action plans to achieve the store's financial and commercial targets.

- Adjust planning based on store requirements.

- Conduct daily customer walks to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities.

Visual Store Operations

- Sample to emphasize fashion themes and create easy-to-wear buying suggestions.

- Manage all visual presentation materials and their ordering schedules.

- Inspect the quality and condition of all visual materials received.

- Maintain and care for all visual presentation materials in-store, with a focus on sustainability.

- Ensure proper layout and safety of the decor room.

- Inform the team of seasonal updates in the Commercial Handbook and conduct evaluations throughout the season.

- Provide updates for all in-store visual information materials.

- Ensure the store is always stocked with sufficient materials for sales and commercial activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in retail merchandising or visual presentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to lift over 20 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stretch, perform repetitive movements, push, pull, and carry items (mannequins, clothing, bags, torsos, etc.) short distances.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and using step stools.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Provide daily visual presentation training and guidance based on H&M's shared values.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Utilize manual and electric tools to install various visual presentation elements.
  • Strong merchandising and visual presentation skills, with the ability to drive sales through creativity, fashion knowledge, and marketing.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work extended hours.
  • Willingness to travel to support other stores.
  • Employment status: non-exempt, hourly (part-time or full-time).
  • Preferred: Certificate or specialized diploma in the fashion industry (e.g., Visual Presentation Arts, Fashion Arts, Fashion Management, Retail Management).
