Batch Plant Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Batch Plant Operator to join our team at Heidelberg Materials. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and troubleshooting a ready-mix batch plant, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality concrete mixes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain batch plant equipment, including computerized systems and manual processes.
- Manage inventory control of raw materials, concrete additives, and specialized materials.
- Communicate with dispatch and transportation departments regarding material delivery and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on facilities and equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of Command batch system is an asset.
- Working knowledge of concrete and admixtures.
- Ability to effectively communicate and safely follow directions.
- Ability to operate loader and other yard equipment as needed.
