Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Applications Support to join our team at Citigroup Inc. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of applications support professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful delivery of end results.
  • Provide technical oversight across systems and applications, leveraging skills across multiple apps support areas.
  • Collaborate with development managers to understand the strategic objectives of users and contribute to the formulation of strategies for apps support and other functional areas.
  • Champion stability initiatives to enable application high availability for Business-As-Usual, including better monitoring, failover, and resiliency.
  • Manage customer satisfaction requirements of operational procedures to achieve a suitable outcome for all stakeholders.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements
  • 6-10 years of experience in an apps support role, with experience in people management and application support.
  • Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams.
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
