Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Transports M. Charette. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across various routes.
    • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to meet customer requirements.
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
    • Report any vehicle issues or damage to the maintenance team.
  • Safety and Security
    • Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Participate in regular safety training and meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of goods.
    • Provide excellent customer service to meet customer requirements and expectations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Attention to detail.
    • Flexibility.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel and varying weather conditions. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
