About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Design Consultant to join our team at Restoration Hardware. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional luxury service to our clients, working closely with our interior design team to ensure their design needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Luxury Service: Provide exceptional service to our clients, offering product expertise and elevated service to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Qualify and Educate Clients: Qualify and educate potential clients on our interior design services, ensuring they understand the value we bring to their design projects.
  • Own the Client Experience: Own all phases of the client experience, from initial contact through product delivery, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Grow and Maintain Client Base: Grow and maintain a strong client base, building relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Meet Fiscal Goals: Meet or exceed fiscal goals, driving revenue growth and contributing to the success of our business.
  • Represent the RH Lifestyle: Represent the RH lifestyle brand through communication, personal appearance, and professionalism, embodying our values and vision.
Requirements
  • Design Experience: 2+ years of experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail environment.
  • Art, Architecture, or Interior Design: Art, architecture, or interior design degree or relevant experience.
  • People and Relationship Skills: Strong people and relationship skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic and Mental Agility: Strategic and mental agility, with the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
  • Highly Organized: Highly organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Collaborative: Collaborative, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Results-Oriented: Results-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Mac operating system, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting and Mobility: Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Gallery Floor and Stock Room: Ability to maneuver effectively around the gallery floor, stock room, and office.
  • Prolonged Standing and Movement: Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing.
  • Licensed to Drive: Licensed to drive preferred.
  • Travel: Ability to travel locally or out of state.
